It has many iconic and recognizable characters, but one of the most popular of them is Kakashi’s character.
This mysterious and powerful character is popular not only for his complex personality but also for his fantastic visual design. This design leads many fans to learn how to draw Kakashi.
How to Draw Kakashi
Step 1
In this first step of our guide to drawing Kakashi, we’ll start with the head. Kakashi has some distinctive features on his head.
First, he wears a face mask that covers half of his face, along with a headband doubles as an eye patch. His spiky white mop of hair complements these features.
These are all the elements we will draw on in this first step. Kakashi’s design is detailed and intricate, so we’ll focus on it section by section.
Using the reference image to guide you, use sharp-tipped curved lines for her hair.
Next, draw his headband with the icon above his eye to the right. Finally, let’s draw his eye and ear before finishing the beginning of his collar.
Step 2
Kakashi will be ready for anything in an action pose in this photo. For the second part of this drawing of Kakashi, we’ll draw his arms ready for use.
There’s a lot of detail to draw here, so don’t be afraid to copy the lines as they appear in the reference image.
His arms are crossed under his head, with one arm holding his edged weapon. Once you’ve drawn his arms as they appear in the image, you’re ready for step 3
Step 3
Now that you have drawn his arms, we can start with his life in this part of our guide on how to draw Kakashi.
To do this, we draw slightly curved lines that go straight down from his arms. Next, we draw two pockets on the front of his waist.
We finish this step by adding a thick border at the base of the bodice and then adding some line detail.
Step 4
We mentioned how this drawing of Kakashi will see him in an action pose, and we’ll emphasize that further by drawing his legs here.
We will slightly spread his legs at the sides, and his pants will be quite baggy. We achieve this look by using many curved lines and pleating details.
Small details, like a strap on the left leg with a pouch attached, will also be.
Where his pants end, we can then use straight lines for the beginning of his ankles. Once you’ve finished her legs, you’re ready for some final touches in the next step!
Step 5
This part of our guide on drawing Kakashi is about adding some final details to finish him off before adding some colours to the image.
You can also draw some details at the end, but we’ll finish the final elements first.
First, draw her feet at the base of her ankles, and they’re drawn to make it look like she’s on tiptoe.
He wears sandals-like shoes that cover most of his feet except for his toes. Then you can end with some lines at her ankles to make it look like they are strapped.
Now that you have her feet ready add some details to finish it off! You could draw an interesting background for him to represent your favourite scene of Kakashi or draw another character like Naruto himself next to you.
These are just a few ideas you could try, but this is your chance to personalize this design while showing us how creative you can be!
Step 6
You’ve reached the final step of your Kakashi drawing, and here you can end up with some amazing colours.
In our reference image, we’ve gone with Kakashi’s standard muted colour scheme of green and navy for his suit and silver for his spiky hair.
This will guide you if you would like your colours to be stock accurate, but feel free to use some of your colours to add your touch!
Once you know the colours you want, you can also experiment with your favourite artistic mediums.
You can try different colours, coloured pencils or many others to bring this drawing of Kakashi to life!
